Here's What You Can Expect This 2020

by Sibrena Geraldino, COO

Dear Friends,

NJ Teamsters FC would like to wish you all a Happy 2020! This year, we have high expectations and will deliver groundbreaking results for the club's infrastructure and fiscal structure. What we are doing will be on par with clubs in Europe so, stay tuned.

It took a little time to build what we are planning to announce 1st quarter 2020 however, we're almost ready to clue you all in on what we've been working on. We were hoping to be able to announce one of the biggest initiatives this month and I do believe we are 2-3 weeks away from our first major announcement of the year!

Last year went out with a bang and I'm talking about fireworks! Our A-Team won UPSL's 2019 Atlantic Cup and ranked no#2 in the league and our B-Team are the B Division League Cup Champions for the 2018-2019 season in Garden State Soccer League - ranked no#1, breaking records by scoring the most goals scored in a game (14), highest goal win by a visiting team (6), and highest goal tie (7:7). We're looking to break more records and tear down barriers.

What can you expect? With a little patience, you'll learn about our new pathways for the players, new global branding intiatives and new uniform kits that Alex, our GM has approved  - both the A + B Squad will be uniformed with the same design - and we're working on new merchandise. We've been presenting to new sponsors and partners as well, so if you know of anyone/company that would be interested in sponsorships with us, call now because uniform kit space is limited and filling up fast.

Also, you've already been updated about our newly formed advisory board, made up of soccer champions like Enoch Shownumi, Avi Mittal and Niall Quinn. We're looking forward to our first board meeting this coming March, to discuss new ideas and scheduling. Alex and SIbrena Geraldino will be attending the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Baltimore, next week, where the 2020 NWSL college draft will be held.

Our Reserve team - B Squad - practice will resume in February in preparation for Spring Season in Garden State Soccer League, and our new 5-week camps for ages 15-17 will begin in February, too. Open tryouts will be held starting in March for all teams. There is so much more that you can expect but, I'll just say, we thank you for your patience. The element of surprise is the name of the game! #waitonit

So, in the meantime, you know our motto: Stand Ready To Strike!

Best Wishes,

Sibrena Stowe-Geraldino, COO
