NJ Teamsters FC (NJTFC) had an amazing practice event while hosting Irish native and ex-Manchester City Striker, Niall Quinn at Don Ahern Veterans Stadium, our home. Bayonne City Councilman-at-Large, Juan Perez and the Ahern family were in attendance to meet the pro and support the club. This was the first time the club has held a meet & greet for soccer fans in Hudson County.
NJTFC is looking forward to a a more aggressive approach with gettiing the community behind us. The organization knows exactly where we want to be and since we've played for two-years, we know what we want and don't want. Mr. Quinn gave priceless advice to the team and to individual players, who sought him out. Sibrena Geraldino, COO said, "We know we're committed to playing the best teams in the United States and abroad. Our level of playing highly competitive matches will increase and we'll continue to get better as an organization."
Founder and GM, Alex Geraldino expressed his gratitute and excitement, "I'm very happy and humbled to have a great football icon like Niall Quinn as our Chairman of the Advisory board. Not only is this a monumental moment but also a very pivital time to steer our club in the direction that the we're headed towards. We are grateful that he believes in us and isn't afraid of the challenge. There'll be lots of breaking news as we push our club on the path to pro soccer."
